And let me tell you, the shower was super, like jaw-droppingly amazing! The facilities had everything we could possibly need, from free Wi-Fi to an electric kettle and cookware. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming too. Located just outside the city, it was perfect for exploring the stunning moors. Oh, and did I mention the view? It was simply breathtaking! And with off-site car parking, it was super convenient. this place ticked all the boxes for us, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a roomy and warm getaway with a private dog-friendly garden. This cottage was absolutely incredible! The view was mind-blowing, and we spent hours just lounging on the sofa, taking it all in. The location felt so remote, but it was still close to everything we needed in town. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, and the shower was super! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had all the amenities we could ask for, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. Plus, there were so many outdoor activities nearby, from hiking and fishing to horseback riding and golf. We even got to enjoy meals in the beautiful outdoor dining area. The whole experience was simply jaw-dropping.

The free WiFi was a lifesaver, I couldn't survive without scrolling through my social media feeds. The private parking was a nice touch, couldn't risk anyone scratching my fancy car.

The view from the cottage was absolutely dreadful, who wants to look at stunning scenery when you can have a concrete jungle instead?

The bed was not very comfortable and we had to fix some broken slats. the bathroom could have been better lit and there was mold in the shower room.

We had a fantastic stay at Wilson Cottage Dartmoor. The location was perfect, just outside Tavistock and within easy reach of the moors. The cottage itself was warm and spacious, with a lovely private garden. It was well-equipped, although slightly dated. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even fixing the TV for us. we had a great experience and would recommend this cottage to others.

The shower had some black mould and the bathroom could use a deep clean. The bed slats were a bit creaky and the heating pipes in the bedroom should be boxed in for safety.
